My Message

Driven by Purpose. Committed to Change

As a candidate for Subdivision #8 of the Prairie Spirit School Division Board of Trustees, I am running with a heart full of hope for our children’s future and an unwavering belief in the power of community. Our school division is facing challenges, and it’s time for us to take action. As a parent, a leader, and someone who is passionate about our children, I know that we must come together to restore the foundation of stability and trust in our schools. Our kids deserve nothing less than our full attention, our love, and our commitment to making their learning environment the best it can be.

Saskatchewan is more than just a place we call home—it’s a place of resilience, innovation, and a unique culture that has shaped generations of leaders, dreamers, and doers. We have a history of producing world-class achievements, and I believe in bringing that Saskatchewan pride back into our schools. We owe it to our children to foster an environment of excellence, where they not only learn but grow into confident, capable individuals who will carry on the legacy of our province.

I believe in my heart that the children in our schools are our future. They are the reason we push forward, and they deserve the tools, attention, and support to not just succeed but to thrive. Every child deserves to feel that they are seen, heard, and valued.

As the CEO of Shercom Industries, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand what Saskatchewan’s spirit of innovation and community involvement can achieve. Shercom is a true Saskatchewan success story, built on the foundation of leadership in circular economy and innovation. My experience leading a company that embodies these values has given me the skills and perspective to help bring the same kind of progress and vision to our schools. I know what it means to lead with intention and heart, and I believe I have so much to offer as your trustee for Subdivision #8.

At the core of my campaign is the belief that every school should be a sanctuary for our children—both mentally and physically. As parents, we all want to know our children are safe. As someone who cares deeply about this community, I know that our children need more than just protection from physical harm—they need a space where they can feel emotionally secure, where they are free to express themselves without fear and without imposing ideological views. They deserve a nurturing environment where their mental health is as much a priority as their academic success. I am committed to enhancing mental health support and fostering a culture of kindness, inclusion, and respect, so that every child feels empowered to succeed, no matter who they are or where they come from.

My heart tells me that together, we can create a brighter, safer, and more compassionate future for every child. I ask for your trust, your support, and your belief in this vision. As your elected trustee for Subdivision #8, I will pour my energy, my passion, and my love into making our schools a place where every child can dream big and achieve their full potential. Let’s build something beautiful for our children—because they are the heart of everything we do.

About Me

Background

I grew up on an acreage, where hard work was a part of everyday life from a young age. Football shaped much of my teenage years, teaching me discipline and teamwork. Over the last 15 years, I’ve honed my skills in project management and construction, becoming an avid entrepreneur along the way. Raised with strong values, I believe in doing things the right way—whether it’s leading a business or digging the best ditch when that’s the job at hand. Leadership, integrity, and dedication have always been at the core of who I am.

Passions

I'm deeply passionate about creating positive change, whether it's through my work in business or my involvement in the community. I'm driven by a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and improving the world around me. At the heart of it all, though, is my dedication to children and their future. I believe in providing them with safe, supportive environments where they can grow and thrive. From creating safe spaces for play at Shercom to advocating for better educational opportunities, my passion for making a lasting impact drives everything I do.

Current Achievements

I’m proud to lead Shercom as CEO, where I've secured a partnership with Nike to create fully inclusive playgrounds using recycled shoes and tires, blending innovation with sustainability.

As Vice Chair of the Board for Autism Services Saskatoon and a trusted advisor on several boards focused on intellectual disabilities, I’ve been a strong advocate for advancing the development of young minds in our community.

These roles reflect my deep commitment to creating lasting, positive change for future generations.
